online print service
(recommended)
To let print out the picture at a online print service, you could follow these steps:
Visit the WhiteWall website and select the option “Fine Art Prints” and choose the paper type “Hahnemühle William Turner”. This is a natural white, 100% cotton paper with a fine, rough surface that resembles watercolor paper.
Upload your portrait and choose a DIN format up to DIN A4 (210 x 297 mm). Decide whether you want to order a frame and passepartout.
Confirm your order and wait for your picture to be delivered to your address.
home printer
To print out the DIN A4 file at a home printer, you could follow these steps:
Make sure your printer is set to use the sRGB color profile. You can check this in the printer settings or preferences on your computer.
Choose a matte paper in DIN A4 (210 x 297 mm) that is suitable for fine art printing, such as Hahnemühle William Turner, Fotospeed Matt Baryta, or Innova Art Exhibition Photo Baryta or similar. These papers have a natural white, cotton-based surface that resembles watercolor paper.
Open the file on your device and select the print option. Choose the highest quality setting and select the paper type that matches the one you are using. You may also want to adjust the brightness, contrast, and saturation to achieve the best results.
Preview your print and make sure everything looks good. Then, click print. Enjoy your portrait! 😊
frame
To frame your picture, you can follow this procedure:
Choose a picture frame that fits the size and style of your picture. You can either buy a ready-made frame or order a custom-made one from an online service.
You can either insert your picture directly into the frame or use a passepartout to create a border around it. A passepartout is a cardboard cut-out that enhances the appearance of your picture. Read more about mounting.
